With 40 years of experience in the field of manufacturing industrial chemicals and solutions, he laid the foundation of Vertex Chemicals in 2007. His passion, willpower, and diligence make him a ‘visionary leader’ who envisions seeing Pakistan gather international acclaim in the chemical solution industry worldwide.

Chief Operations Officer
A graduate of University College London and the London School of Economics, Umar leads ….. Following the vision behind establishing Vertex Chemicals, he aims to render his utmost services to help Pakistan attain a global positioning in the construction chemicals industry.
Suleman Saleem
Chief Financial Officer
Suleman Saleem is the Chief Financial Officer of Vertex Chemicals. He is a senior member of ISACA, USA and also a fellow professional member of Public Finance Accounts Institute of Pakistan. He has worked as a professional consultant for 11 years and possesses accumulated diversified expertise in all avenues of financial management.
Beginning of our journey, establishing Pagel Pakistan
It was 2007 when our founders pursued a vision of building a solid foundation for Pakistan to grow by bringing global excellence in construction chemicals to the country. Pagel Pakistan was founded under licence of Pagel Spezial-Beton GMBH. At that time, Pakistan was experiencing an unprecedented period of industrialization and the establishment of power projects amid a growing energy deficit. Our team rose to the challenge, developing high-performance grouts supplied to some of the most vital structures that power the nation to this day.
And then, we began to expand!
Over time, we leveraged our state-of-the-art R&D facility and global expertise to develop more advanced concrete-related technologies in collaboration with our German partners. By utilising Pakistan's untapped resources and expanding our product range, we introduced new categories such as concrete admixtures, plaster systems, and repair products.
As our portfolio grew, so did our recognition as a comprehensive construction chemical manufacturer. We proudly supplied our products to iconic structures such as Bahria Icon Tower, Tarbela Hydropower Dam, SEPCO Coal Powerplant, Gulpur Hydropower Dam, and Lahore Metro Bus, among others.

With this realisation, we have been expanding our product offerings, introducing innovative products such as resin flooring, tile systems, polished concrete, and stone polishing, preparing to cater to a growing local and international market.
